Volunteering with a younger child
A parent who is interested in Kinderschule may volunteer to help at Kinderschule while bringing their child in their care if that child is under age 2 or not yet potty-trained. They may come, keeping the same weekday, for free. This is considered volunteering to help with Kinderschule, and such volunteering help is accepted on a case-by-case basis.
Once a child is 2 years old, a parent may also volunteer at Kinderschule and stay with their child once a week, keeping the same weekday, but only for four times at no charge. Thereafter, the parent must enrol the child in a special one day a week program, paying the current maximum daily fee, and attending with the child.
A child who has begun the visitation process in this way will have become accustomed to Kinderschule and may enrol as per regular Parent Handbook regulations at any time. Issues with potty-training will be resolved on a case-by-case basis.
