With fond memories and deep sadness, South Winnipeg Kinderschule mourns the loss of our former director, Satori Diop. From 2009-2011, Satori provided thoughtful, sensitive leadership to our preschool program. She embraced children and adults alike with respect for their humanity and uniqueness, celebrated their strengths, encouraging their growth. Satori modeled grace, dignity and understanding as the center for community and relationship. During her two short years with Kinderschule, Satori infused her vibrance and passion for development of the whole person into the DNA of who we are today. Her dream of a stable and broad program rich in cultural exposure for preschool children remains alive at Kinderschule today.
